Mission Statement

Through the Grace and help of the Almighty God, the source of all goodness and mercy, we are resolved to collaborate and join together to propagate and spread to the parishes of the Diocese of Oakland the authentic devotion, the ministry and spirituality of the Divine Mercy.

Objectives

To catechize the parishes and their devotees of the theology and the spirituality of the Divine Mercy privately revealed to the Mystic Faustina Kowalska and documented in her Diary entitled the Divine Mercy in my Soul. To teach about the Life of St. Faustina, the Divine Mercy Chaplet Prayer and the 3 o'clock Prayer. To form parish groups under the guidance and approval of their pastors. To serve as a resource and provide assistance to parish groups. To provide assistance to Parish and Diocesan Ministries that minister to the poor, the sick destitute and needy. To support WALK for LIFE and other Advocacies relating to the Respect of Life and the End of Abortion.

Plan of Actions

Creation of a Diocesan Divine Mercy Advisory Committee. Divine Mercy Parish and School Missions/Catechesis. Diocesan Divine Mercy Conference Every 2 years. Study/Faith Formation Day in English and Spanish. Pilgrimage to Stockbridge, MA (National Shrine of the Divine Mercy in the United States (Date -TBA). Pilgrimage to Krakow, Poland (The International Shrine of the Divine Mercy (Date - TBA). Quarterly Newsletter.
